The Richmond Memorial Library is always looking for people to join our Friends of the Library group. Some of the fundraising projects the Friends group are involved in include: the spring and fall book sales, board game and puzzle sales, a spring plant sale, and the holiday auction. Members of the Friends also help the library through projects like weeding and gardening as well as acting as advocates of the library to promote library services. There are also fun programs sponsored by the Friends, including an upcoming Paint and Sip Night being planned for this spring.

The Friends of the Library are currently fundraising for a few small projects, including the addition of new Sensory Bins that will be available for check out after our spring fundraisers, new yard games, and Nature Exploration Kits.

The Friends of the Library meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm (except in July and August). If you’re interested in attending the next meeting, email Library Director Aubrey Muscaro at amuscaro@richmondlibrary.info. Meetings are currently being held on Zoom.
